A professional DJ for your Event!
Do you perform for more than one event in a day?
Yes. As a business of trained professionals we may cover several events a week or night. However we do not double book or accept a booking with organising a DJ first.
How many other types of events do you do per year?
Different DJs focus on different types of events – some consider themselves a “jack of all trades” and claim expertise in all types of events, and others are specialists. With some DJs this true because of their extensive experience, however many DJs do prefer to DJ at for a certain type of Event and at Canberra DJ Hire we will always match our DJ accordingly to your Event.
How long will you hold our date for us?
Our dates are assigned on a first come, first served basis. It’s the only way to be fair to everyone inquiring. Once you have paid a deposit, the date of our Event will be secured and an allocated DJ will be locked in.
What if something happens to you and you can’t make it to the Event?
In the rare circumstance something has occure, and late notice has eventuated and the allocated DJ cannot attend we will cover the shift with a Back up DJ.
Can we visit you at a performance?
It would be unethical for us to allow you to attend someone else’s event, without their permission. As a potential client to Canberra DJ Hire you would be appear a uninvited guest at their event. However we would extend you the same courtesy and not invite other people to your event.
May we speak to your references?
Yes.
How much of a deposit is required to secure our date?
In order to secure your date we require a 10% deposit. Our payment options are Credit Card, Direct Deposit, Cheque or Cash.
Are you insured?
Absolutely. Canberra DJ Hire have full liability insurance policy.
What is your policy on alcohol or smoking during the wedding?
Zero.Our DJ’s are not permitted to smoke or drink during working hours.
Do you set up a sign or banner with your equipment?
Most DJ companies will make opportunity to self promote at your event. At Canberra DJ Hire our focus is provide you a service, we won t plaster your wedding tables with business cards or put up signs at the DJ table or banners that will ruin your photo’s. We believe it’s your event, not a advertising opportunity.
